Had the 3 course set menu. Pate (pretty good), then the steak and chips (excellent) and finally the sorbet to finish (very good as well). Nice place, really good steak and chips, recommended!
vanv reviewed Walrus and Carpenter:
I never really know what to make of this place. Great location, amazing interior, I can just never make up my mind if the food is good or not. It’s pretty basic American type of fare…it’s OK, but there is better in Bath.
UPDATE: just found out that this restaurant has now closed down
vanv reviewed Felicini:
Nice place, enjoyed my Italian platter starter. It’s a big place though and sometimes the service suffered a little as you felt they couldn’t give everyone the service required, you got lost
vanv reviewed Memsaab:
I reckon this is one of the best indian restaurants in Nottingham. The food is great, there’s loads of room and the kingfisher beer can flow!
vanv reviewed Porthmeor Beach Café Bar:
Incredible location right on the beach. Bit pricey, but the food is very good and they were very accommodating for our 2 kids aged 2 and 9 months
Dave reviewed Bistro La Barrique:
Great French “tapas style” restaurant. Order yourself a couple of the delicous main dishes, a side dish and a glass of the many excellent wines and you won’t be disappointed. Great for a romantic supper or group food fest!
Chris reviewed Cinnamon:
Good Indian food (portions are quite large, especially the naan), cosy atmosphere. Excellent service
Chris reviewed Lock Keeper:
The food is excellent and reasonably priced, the beer garden by the river is a very enjoyable place to relax
